Hello creative peeps! Welcome back for another What’s Up Wednesday with Evi. I am playing in my Dylusion art journal once again. I started with Liquitex gesso on my pages to prime. I then used Daler and Roweny Liquid Acrylics in Genesis Green and Galactic Blue for the background colors. I then splattered White Pearl for more interest. Once this layered dried I went in with a few stamps from my stash including a Dylusion numbers one, music lyrics and a dollie stamp with archival ink. I then used a Dina Wakley set of stamp and stencil called Love Rocks. The stamps set includes varies heart shapes with a distress look. First, I stamped the image and then I went in with Black Lava from Liquitex with the stencil. I wanted more contrast so I went back in with Liquitex modeling paste for added interest to these pages. I will go back in and add journaling when the mood is right. For now these are gorgeous pages on their own. Thank you for stopping by. What's Up Wednesday
Today I have a really simple art journal project for you! I used my large Dylusions art journal and some Liquitex Basics paint along with a variety of mists, pastes, stamps and stencils to create my project. Art journaling is all about the layers! You can use any products to create something that expresses whatever you happen to be feeling on a particular day.
I started with the brilliant yellow green Basics paint, and then just layered other products from there. I free handed and painted the flowers and then used a waterproof pen to create some squiggly lines from there. Art journaling is so fun and therapeutic!! Check out all of the supplies in The Pink Camera online store (coupon code MARI10) for your next art journaling project.
Hey Guys it's Shantele today is Monday so it's Mix Media time.
My Project today my background paper is Phoenix Shimelle Starshine. I matted my photos with Gemini, Odyssey and Kepler.
I gesso my background paper then painted it with Fresh Lime Dylusion pant. I mix Liquitex Light Modelling Paste and Squeezed Orange paint and a stencil from my stash and placed it around my layout.
I add embellishments from the Shimelle Starshine roller date stamp, clear stickers and chip board stickers.
Finished off by sprinkling some Dylusion White Linen and Pigment Izink Caviar.
