Todays Pocket Party is for Shimelle's Starshine Collection.
This spread is based on the beautiful florals in the Mercury 12x12 paper. I knew I had to fussy cut a couple of those flowers and layer them up. In the top left pocket, I cut down the Mercury sheet to 4x6. I then layered my photo onto a piece of white cardstock to add interest between the photo and the paper. The florals I fussy cut are popped up on some old chipboard pieces that have been laying in my stash for years - what a great way
to get product out of your stash and still get your monies worth!
For the other 2 pockets, I used Galileo and Spritzer for my backgrounds and added some more of those florals in the corners to balance out the top left pocket. I finished up by using the 12x12 Orion cut apart sheet, cut apart sheets and fussy cutting are a great way to stretch collections and supplies. I placed many of these elements and the acetate bits and pieces throughout the layout to build up my clusters. I finished the page off with a few puffy design stickers from the Millie & June collection and tiny words made using the Starshine acrylic stamps.
