Celebrating 4 Years of Alberta Adventures
Happy Tuesday everyone! Today I will be sharing some Pocket Party fun.
One thing to remember about pocket style layouts is that it doesn’t just have to showcase your week at a glance, it is such a great way to document specific events under one theme, show growth of your children/pets on one spread or even favourite scenic pictures to just name a few.
This layout is all about celebrating the many milestones, friendships and experiences I have enjoyed while working away in Alberta. I chose 10 pictures throughout 2012 up to today. These are all “classic” Alberta sites, milestones (like my first car), my beautiful kitten Grizzly and visits from friends/family. I then took the 6x6 paper pad (or what was left… let’s be real, these papers were gorgeous) from the Millie & June collection and cut 10 papers down to 4x6. And since it is a mixture of photos from different years, I wasn’t worried about the order of my photos rather than placing the 4x6 papers in a balanced way.
I then grabbed the puffy stickers, tags and ephemera from that same collection along with the last few bits and pieces, flairs and my last acrylic shape from the Starshine collection to begin embellishing. With the Starshine Marquee Thickers and a grey chipboard Thickers pack from my stash I completed my layout.
